Ms. Priya Nair is a 31-year-old woman, 70 kg, on postpartum day 2 after the vaginal delivery of her first baby, whom she is breastfeeding. Her labor epidural was placed 50 hours ago. The chart notes that on the first attempt with a 17-gauge needle there was a probable accidental dural puncture; the epidural was re-sited one level higher and worked well. Nobody told her.

Since last evening she has had a headache. Her nurse asks you to see her before she goes home this afternoon. The facilitator will give vital signs and examination findings when you examine her.

Your task: evaluate Ms. Nair and discuss your findings and the treatment options with her.
