Mr. Bauer is a 66-year-old man, 84 kg, 180 cm, with a right lower lobe cancer, booked for a thoracoscopic right lower lobectomy. His airway examination is unremarkable. After induction you have placed a left-sided double-lumen tube with a videolaryngoscope. A flexible bronchoscope, an airway exchange catheter, single-lumen tubes and a videolaryngoscope are on the cart. A facilitator plays the surgeon and gives you findings and events when you ask.

Your task: confirm and manage Mr. Bauer's double-lumen tube through the case, and say out loud what you are doing and why.
